Not really. Mental manipulation has been a popular subject in the studies of Psychology. Some places,facilities, and schools(like mine) actually have Psychology teachers who can use students as examples with video proof with even myself that hypnosis works. It doesn't necessarily mean it can control you as easily, but is mainly used in therapy for memory restoration, but is videoed because some people don't remember what they say since they are in a sleep like trance

If you get into the field of psychotherapy, you will learn the techniques to hypnotize someone. They didn't film the whole hypnosis process only because it is disclosed only to certified therapists. But hypnosis DOES work....make no mistake of it. Of course it doesn't work the way it's shown in the media but it DOES work.
