Not many can, but the few of us who can handle it are the awesome ones. :D My gf will be 18 this year but...she has been through a hell of alot. She has alot of issues related to her dad. We've known eachother, nearing five years I believe and we've been together over a year. The whole time all I've ever do was try and be there for her. In the end that is what caused us to be here. Just unfortunate that there are so few of us. ;\

I met my soulmate @ 42. We are truly blessed if and when we met the one who is there for us. Life is so funny: when I met him, I knew I was going to marry him. I know that sounds like a cliche' but. . . it happened to me. I loved him so much and I knew he was a good, good man. I wanted to be the best and do the best for him and I did. Then, as life usually does, our course was changed . Life altering changes. Now the tables have turned and he is holding me up. Without grudge. Peace sylviasuits

I think the "angel" is actually her significant other, trying to battle with her past, and to help her get past everything. IMO.

I live the battle everyday, my husband, is caring, loving and so strong to deal with my demons, and he has allowed me to come to grips with things that happened as a child that I had no control over. A previous relationship would throw it in my face violently, and it tore me down so far, but now I can say, at 30 years old, I am able to love truly, deeply, and with absolutely no reserve. This song helps me thru my toughest times, reminding me it's never too late to be all you were meant to be.

Sylvia - you know so well what the song means. I'm touched by your response. Personifies; loving someone w/emotional baggage: your words ring so true. I'm in the best relationship of my life after many, mistakes. He lets me be me and I've never had that before. And now that I can be myself, I can cry, scream, rant - he lets me go w/out striking back. Not many people can handle anothers grief and deep, sorrow. Thanks for the "hope" pick up, because IT IS a struggle. But it's the good fight.
